There and back again

Even children believe in love, so why can't you?
Sure, children believe in fairies and dragons and salvation, but then again, there's no shame in believing.
This reminds me of last night when I saw you flying across the sea on the back of a crow, the stars cried and washed your hair like morning dew, mermaids chanted your name into the night, a herd of black wild horses stamped your name on the warm sand and I smiled knowning that even though we're so far apart, our destinies are intertwined. I know you think of me, you lie to yourself but think of me while you carve my name on tree trunks, write me secret poems and letters, when you hide deep in the forest trying to stay away.

A name, a name I write, though I try to forget. I try to forge a new identity to it, everyday I try not to remember it just like you try to erase it. But it doesn't work, some things are meant to find each other, bump in the night.

I hope to find a new meaning and whatever love or hate that might come in between doesn't matter, we'll work it out. Thread on.
